While obtaining a Master’s in Accounting at Illinois State University, I managed a local restaurant, which led me to speculate ways in which business can be improved. This led me to attend and graduate the Organization and Strategy program at University of Tennessee in the between 2015-2019.
Currently, I am an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at Iowa State University, where I teach a course on Feasibility Analysis and develop research on entrepreneurs. My research lies at the intersection of entrepreneurship and organizational behavior. More specifically, I am interested in the role of entrepreneurs’ perceptions of stress (appraisal) in influencing matters relevant to a business venture or to an entrepreneur’s well-being.
